Randy Douglas



Randy Douglas, as head coach for the Point University Lady Skyhawks soccer program, has compiled a 95-152-27 overall record through 14 seasons, including two region titles, two second place and one third place finish in the NCCAA II National Tournament.

Before becoming head women’s soccer coach at Point in 2001, he served as head men’s coach when he was initially hired in 2000.

Overall Douglas has 21 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level, coaching both men’s and women’s soccer teams. He was the head soccer coach at Tennessee Temple University from 1993-97, winning an NCCAA Region Championship in 1993 and placing fourth at the National Tournament that same year.

While pursuing his master’s degree, Coach Douglas also accepted a position as an assistant coach at Bryan University. At Bryan he coached on two NAIA regional championship teams, as well as a conference championship team in 1998.

Douglas is a 1987 graduate of Tennessee Temple University where he finished up with a degree in business administration. He went on to pursue a master’s degree in sports administration from the United States Sports Academy in 1999.

Natalie Zierten



Natalie Zierten begins her first season as assistant women's soccer coach for Point University. Zierten attended Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois from 2005 to 2009, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.

The Racine, Wisconsin native played midfield for the Trinity women's soccer team for four years. The Trojans made three appearances in the NCCAA D1 National Tournament during her time there, including a runner-up finish in 2005. Zierten captained the Trojans and was named an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete in her senior season.

After graduation, Zierten began working at Kenosha Christian Life School in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She served as the physical education teacher and assistant varsity girl's soccer coach from 2009-2015. Zierten was also the head coach of the U-14 and U-12 Kenosha Crew girls club soccer team during that time.
